Product Description Technical Details

The RAK19011 + RAK19012 Base Set offers maximum expansion and flexibility within the compact and industrial-grade WisBlock ecosystem. The RAK19011 Dual IO Base Board provides:

  • 1 slot for the WisBlock Core module

  • 1 slot for a Power Slot module (e.g., RAK19012)

  • 2 IO slots for interface modules

  • 6 sensor slots (A to F) for WisBlock sensor or function modules

Despite being the largest base board in the WisBlock lineup, the RAK19011 retains a small footprint of 60 x 67 mm. All modules connect via high-speed board-to-board connectors and are secured with screws, making it vibration-resistant for use in rugged environments.

A user-programmable push button is also included for interactive or control functions. All major data lines—I2C, SPI, UART, and USB—as well as general-purpose I/O pins are accessible through two 2.54 mm pitch headers.

RAK19012 – Power Slot Module

The RAK19012 provides power to the entire setup via LiPo battery, solar panel, or external DC input, including charging capabilities for rechargeable batteries. It is required to power the WisBlock Core and all attached modules on the RAK19011.

The set is perfect for advanced edge computing, sensor hubs, and prototyping platforms. Use the WisBlock IO Pin Mapping Tool to pre-validate compatible configurations and prevent pin conflicts between modules.
