WisBlock GNSS Module – RAK12501

The WisBlock RAK12501 GNSS Module integrates high-precision GNSS tracking into the WisBlock system. Using the Quectel L76K chipset, it supports multiple satellite constellations including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS, ensuring reliable global coverage.

With its high sensitivity (-165 dBm) and fast acquisition times (Cold Start < 15 s, Warm Start < 5 s, Hot Start < 1 s), the RAK12501 delivers consistent performance even in challenging environments.
Communication with a WisBlock Core is simple through UART using the NMEA 0183 protocol.

Its compact size (10 x 23 mm) and low power consumption make it perfect for battery-powered trackers and Meshtastic-based solutions. Additionally, it can log position data to internal flash memory, making it an excellent choice for long-term deployments.
