WisBlock Base Board with Power Slot – RAK19010

The RAK19010 WisBlock Base Board with Power Slot is a versatile, industrial-grade platform that connects multiple WisBlock modules while keeping power supply management separate. With a footprint of just 30 × 60 mm, it is ideal for IoT solutions that require a compact, modular architecture and robust signal integrity.

The board includes:

• 1 slot for the WisBlock Core module

• 1 slot for a WisBlock IO module

• 4 sensor module slots (A to D)

• 1 dedicated Power Slot, required to power the base board and connected modules

Sensor modules can be mounted on the top or bottom, while the Core, Power, and IO modules are mounted on the top side. Slots A and D support modules up to 23 mm in height, while all slots A–D accept 10 mm modules.

Power is supplied through one of the following Power Modules, depending on the application:

• RAK19012 – USB, LiPo battery, and solar panel

• RAK19013 – LiPo and solar (no USB for restricted firmware access)

• RAK19014 – Non-rechargeable battery with USB

• RAK19015 – Non-rechargeable battery without USB

• RAK19016 – 5–24 V DC for industrial systems

• RAK19017 – Power over Ethernet (PoE)

High-speed board-to-board connectors ensure secure and reliable interconnection, while screws physically lock modules in place, making the design suitable for use in vibration-prone environments.

For customization and expansion, the RAK19010 includes three 2.54 mm pitch headers for BOOT, UART, I2C, GPIO, and ADC access. Optional RAK19005 Sensor Extension Cable and RAK19008 IO Extension Cable allow modules to be mounted remotely inside enclosures or housings.
