The RAK12011, part of the WisBlock Sensor Series, enhances the WisBlock system with a water-resistant barometric pressure sensor. Featuring the LPS33HW MEMS sensor from STMicroelectronics, it can measure both barometric air pressure and ambient temperature via an I²C interface.
Thanks to its waterproof package combined with a three-proof protective coating on the PCB, the RAK12011 is perfectly suited for environments exposed to high humidity or direct water contact. The sensor offers high accuracy of ±0.1 hPa and built-in temperature compensation for reliable data acquisition.
With an ultra-low power consumption of only 3 μA in operation and a compact size of 10 mm x 10 mm, the RAK12011 is ideal for wearables, weather stations, and IoT devices that must operate reliably in challenging environments.
