The RAK13801 UWB Module expands the WisBlock system with the powerful Decawave DW1000 chipset.
Using Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology with a frequency bandwidth above 1 GHz, it provides positioning accuracy down to 10 cm for real-time location systems (RTLS).

The module integrates the antenna, RF circuitry, power management, and clock system into a compact form factor. It supports both two-way ranging and TDOA (Time Difference of Arrival) systems, with data rates of up to 6.8 Mbps.

Its high multipath fading immunity and ability to support a large number of tags make it well-suited for demanding RTLS applications. With its low power consumption, the RAK13801 reduces battery replacement needs and lowers lifetime system costs.
