The RAK12019 UV Light Sensor is based on the Lite-On LTR-390UV-01 chipset and is part of the RAKwireless WisBlock sensor series. It can precisely measure both UV intensity and ambient light intensity. The I2C communication interface ensures the module is immune to electrical noise, making it more reliable than analog-output sensors.
This module is an excellent choice for greenhouse control systems, where it can help protect plants from excessive UV exposure. It is also suitable for UV level warning systems and for use in building automation projects, such as smart lighting and shading control.
With its wide dynamic range, high-resolution output, and ultra-low power consumption, the RAK12019 delivers accurate and efficient performance. Thanks to its temperature compensation circuit and ability to operate in extreme conditions from -40 °C to +85 °C, it is highly dependable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
