Temperature and Humidity Sensor Sensirion SHTC3 – RAK1901

The RAK1901, part of the WisBlock Sensor Series, adds precise temperature and humidity measurement to the WisBlock system. Featuring the SHTC3 sensor from Sensirion, it provides a temperature accuracy of ±0.2 °C and a humidity accuracy of ±2.0 % RH.

With a temperature range of -40 °C to +125 °C and a humidity range of 0 % to 100 % RH, the RAK1901 is suitable for nearly any environment. Its low power consumption (0.3 µA to 270 µA) makes it perfect for battery-powered IoT solutions.

When paired with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core, the collected data can be transmitted via LoRaWAN®, LoRa® point-to-point, or BLE. Additionally, the module can be completely powered down when not in use to further reduce energy consumption.

The RAK1901 can also be combined with other WisBlock sensors, such as a barometric pressure sensor, to create a complete weather station. With its compact size of 10 mm x 10 mm, it integrates easily into a variety of applications.
