RTC Module Micro Crystal RV-3028-C7 – RAK12002

The RAK12002 RTC Module adds precise real-time clock functionality to WisBlock-based solutions. Powered by the Micro Crystal RV-3028-C7, it is one of the most power-efficient RTC chips, consuming only 40 nA.

It features a built-in 32.768 kHz crystal oscillator for high accuracy, with automatic functions such as leap year correction and counters for seconds, minutes, hours, date, month, year, and weekday.

Thanks to its supercapacitor backup, the module retains date and time even during power loss and seamlessly provides accurate time to the WisBlock Core once power is restored.

The I²C interface ensures easy integration, while a programmable clock output adds flexibility for various IoT applications. Compact at just 10 × 10 mm, the RAK12002 is perfect for battery-powered IoT solutions that require precise and reliable timekeeping.
