The RAK14001 RGB LED Module adds a compact and versatile RGB lighting solution to the WisBlock platform. Powered by the NCP5623B chip from On Semiconductors, it supports independent control of each RGB channel, allowing for flexible color and brightness adjustments.
The module connects via an I²C interface, making it easy to integrate into existing WisBlock projects. It also features an integrated gradual dimming function, enabling smooth transitions and brightness effects. The internal DC/DC converter with a high-efficiency charge pump provides the required voltage for all three LED segments.
With the ability to drive up to 20 mA per segment and a supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 4.2 V, the RAK14001 is well-suited for battery-powered applications. Its compact 25 × 35 mm form factor makes it ideal for IoT projects that require vivid and dynamic visual displays.
