Product Description Technical Details

The RAK12029 is an inductive sensor module from the RAKWireless WisBlock Sensor series, designed for reliable and precise metal detection. It is powered by the Texas Instruments LDC1614 Inductance-to-Digital Converter, which measures the oscillation frequency of up to four LC resonators.

With a 28-bit resolution, the module provides digital values proportional to frequency, enabling highly accurate detection of metallic objects. Its immunity to DC magnetic fields and magnets makes it suitable for demanding environments.

The RAK12029 comes with four wireless coil patches and is ideal for applications such as:

  • Robotics and automation

  • Industrial manufacturing and testing systems

  • Access control and security solutions

  • IoT-based detection systems
