The RAK13004 PWM Expansion Module adds up to 16 independent PWM outputs to your WisBlock solution. Powered by the NXP PCA9685 chip, it communicates via a 1 MHz Fast-mode Plus compatible I²C interface.

With 4096 programmable brightness levels (12-bit), the module enables fine-tuned LED brightness control. The output frequency typically ranges from 24 Hz to 1526 Hz, making it suitable for a variety of applications including RGB or RGBA LED drivers, status indicators, and LED display panels.

The RAK13004 supports hot insertion, offers low standby current, and accepts an operating voltage of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, all while functioning within a wide -40 °C to +85 °C temperature range. Measuring only 25 × 35 mm, it is a compact and versatile expansion for modular IoT projects.
