Technical Details
The RAK19018 PoE Module enhances WisBlock-based solutions by providing Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) functionality. Based on the Silvertel Ag9905MT DC/DC converter board, it is fully IEEE 802.3af compliant and works in combination with the RAK13800 Ethernet Module.
The integrated signature and control circuit of the Ag9905MT ensures compliance with PoE requirements from the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) before delivering up to 9 watts of power to the port. It provides a Class 0 signature for compatibility.
The module supports a wide input voltage range of 36 V to 57 V, delivering a regulated 5 V output. Built-in short-circuit protection and over-temperature protection ensure safe and reliable operation. Compact at 32 × 25 mm, the RAK19018 is easy to integrate into your WisBlock projects.
