Technical Details
The Milesight VS121-868M is an intelligent AI-powered occupancy sensor designed to monitor people presence and movement in indoor environments like offices, retail stores, airports, and public spaces. Leveraging advanced AI algorithms, the VS121 achieves up to 98% detection accuracy without capturing or storing images—fully GDPR-compliant.
Supporting up to 16 detection zones, the sensor can perform bi-directional people counting, dwell time analysis, and people flow tracking, making it ideal for space optimization, facility management, and intelligent building applications. The device is available in two hardware versions—standard and high-ceiling mount—for installation heights ranging from 2.5 m to 7 m.
The VS121 transmits data using LoRaWAN® and supports Milesight D2D for ultra-low latency device-to-device control. Configuration is easily done via Wi-Fi AP mode, and with support for data retransmission, the sensor ensures data integrity even in low connectivity environments.
