The EM500-SMTC is a robust, research-grade LoRaWAN® soil sensor designed to monitor moisture, temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC) with high accuracy in real time. Ideal for smart agriculture, greenhouse management, horticulture, and automated irrigation, it delivers critical insights into soil conditions to help optimize water usage and crop yield.
Built to thrive in the harshest environments, the EM500-SMTC features a IP67-rated transceiver and an IP68 corrosion-resistant soil probe, ensuring reliable performance even in corrosive or waterlogged soils. The device can be configured via NFC or USB-C, and data can be remotely managed through Milesight IoT Cloud or third-party LoRaWAN® platforms.
Powered by a replaceable 19000 mAh battery, it supports ultra-low power operation for up to 10 years of maintenance-free service. Integrated data storage and retransmission functions guarantee data integrity in case of signal interruptions.
