The Milesight UC501-No3GL LoRaWAN® Controller is a highly flexible data acquisition and control device built for demanding IoT applications. With support for GPIO, 4–20 mA and 0–10 V analog inputs, RS232/RS485 serial communication, and SDI-12, it connects effortlessly to a wide range of industrial, agricultural, and environmental sensors.
The two GPIO ports are fully software-configurable as digital input, digital output, or pulse counter, making the device suitable for applications such as meter reading, relay control, alarms, and switch monitoring. The analog input supports high-precision measurements with 12-bit resolution, allowing seamless integration with industrial-grade sensors. The serial port supports both transparent communication and Modbus RTU via RS485/RS232, enabling compatibility with SCADA systems and large sensor networks.
Communication is based entirely on LoRaWAN® OTAA/ABP Class A and Class C, supporting very long transmission distances up to 15 km line of sight. Configuration is quick and intuitive through NFC, PC software via USB-C, or remote downlink commands.
Designed for long-term deployment in the field, the UC501-No3GL includes two rechargeable 2550 mAh batteries, an integrated 6V/1.7W solar panel, and optional 5–24 V DC input via M12 connector. The controller is housed in a rugged IP68 enclosure, ensuring full protection against dust, water, and harsh outdoor conditions.
Additional advanced features include threshold alarms, change alarms, multicast (UC501 version only), 600-entry local data storage, data retrievability, and retransmission to prevent data loss—making the UC501-No3GL suitable for mission-critical IoT scenarios.
