Product Description Technical Details

The RAK12022 PT100 Sensor Module, part of the WisBlock Sensor Series, provides a highly accurate solution for industrial and medical temperature measurements. It uses the MAX31865 resistance-to-digital converter, specifically designed for PT100 platinum RTDs.

An external resistor defines the RTD sensitivity, while the integrated delta-sigma ADC converts resistance measurements into digital values. The module features overvoltage protection up to 45 V and includes programmable detection for open and short RTD leads, ensuring safety and reliability.

With 15-bit resolution, a nominal temperature resolution of 0.03125 °C, and total accuracy of ±0.5 °C (0.05% of full scale), the RAK12022 delivers precise and consistent results. Its 21 ms maximum conversion time makes it ideal for real-time applications.

This version is delivered without a PT100 sensor, making it the perfect choice for users who wish to integrate their own RTDs.
