Product Description
The RAK12010, part of the WisBlock Sensor Series, adds precise ambient light sensing capability to the WisBlock system. Using the VEML7700 chip from Vishay Semiconductors, it delivers digital measurements with 16-bit resolution.
With its wide measurement range of 0 lx to approximately 120,000 lx and a fine resolution of 0.0036 lx, the RAK12010 is perfect for applications that require accurate light detection such as smart lighting systems, energy efficiency solutions, and portable devices.
The sensor features excellent temperature compensation, operates with a 3.3 V power supply, and consumes only 2 to 45 μA, making it highly suitable for energy-efficient IoT devices. Its compact size of 10 mm x 10 mm ensures easy integration into existing systems.
