The RAK13003 IO Expansion Module is a compact and efficient solution to add more digital IO capacity to your WisBlock system. Built on the Microchip MCP23017, it provides 16 bidirectional IO ports managed through an I²C interface.

It supports both standard and fast I²C modes, enabling reliable and high-speed communication. The configurable interrupt outputs (INTA and INTB) can be set to operate independently or together, offering flexible event detection for advanced applications.

Additionally, the module includes an external reset input and operates with a very low standby current of just 1 μA (max.), making it ideal for power-efficient IoT projects. Compact in design at 25 × 35 mm, it fits seamlessly into modular WisBlock setups.
