The RAK19004 Green Power Module adds an efficient way to harness renewable energy for WisBlock-based solutions. Powered by the Texas Instruments TPS55165-Q1, a DC-DC buck-boost converter, it accepts input voltages from 2 V to 36 V and provides a stable 5 V output.
With a maximum output current of 1 A, it is ideal for IoT applications that require reliable power from renewable energy sources. Note: the module requires a minimum input voltage of 5.3 V to start up.
Unlike other WisBlock modules, the RAK19004 does not use a WisConnector. Instead, it is an external module with four mounting holes, giving you flexibility in positioning within your enclosure.
The package includes a cable to connect the module to the Solar connector of the WisBlock Base Board, making installation straightforward.
