Dual IO Base Board with Power Slot – RAK19011

The RAK19011 Dual IO Base Board with Power Slot is part of RAK’s new generation of industrial-grade WisBlock base boards. Built for advanced and complex IoT applications, it offers a flexible design while maintaining a compact footprint of just 60 × 67 mm.

The board supports the following:

• 1 WisBlock Core module slot

• 1 dedicated Power module slot

• 2 IO module slots

• 6 sensor module slots (A to F)

A key feature of the RAK19011 is its separated power architecture, requiring an external Power Module to energize the entire board. Depending on your application, you can choose from several power module options:

• RAK19012 – USB, LiPo battery, and solar panel

• RAK19013 – LiPo and solar (no USB for secure systems)

• RAK19014 – Non-rechargeable battery with USB

• RAK19015 – Non-rechargeable battery without USB

• RAK19016 – 5–24 V DC for industrial-grade power input

• RAK19017 – PoE (Power over Ethernet)

Modules connect via high-speed board-to-board connectors that ensure signal integrity even in vibration-prone environments. All modules are mechanically secured with screws for added reliability.

The board also includes two 2.54 mm pitch headers, which expose essential WisBlock Core pins such as UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, and USB, enabling advanced extensions and integrations. A user-defined push button is available for custom inputs or triggers.

WisBlock is open-source friendly – you can develop your own custom module using the standardized WisBlock connectors and follow tutorials on how to build one.
