Technical Details
The Dragino SW3L is a smart LoRaWAN® flow sensor developed for monitoring water consumption in buildings, infrastructure, and remote installations. It measures total water flow volume using an external mechanical flow sensor and periodically transmits data to an IoT platform via the EU868 LoRaWAN® network.
The device automatically sends flow data every 20 minutes and can detect abnormal flow events such as continuous flushing or leaks. When such anomalies are detected, the SW3L transmits an alarm to help prevent water waste.
Powered by an industrial-grade 8500 mAh Li-SOCI2 battery, the SW3L is designed to last up to 10 years depending on configuration and usage environment. Its rugged, weatherproof housing makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor deployments, even under extreme temperatures.
Each SW3L comes preloaded with a unique set of LoRaWAN® credentials. Once registered on a LoRaWAN® server, it connects automatically after power-up.
