The RAK1902, part of the WisBlock Sensor Series, extends the WisBlock system with barometric pressure sensing. Powered by the STMicroelectronics LPS22HB chip, it provides accurate measurements of absolute air pressure within a range of 260 hPa to 1260 hPa, along with temperature readings from -40 °C to +85 °C.
With its high pressure accuracy of ±0.1 hPa and temperature accuracy of ±1.5 °C, the RAK1902 is perfectly suited for applications such as weather prediction systems, altitude measurement, IoT environmental monitoring, and portable devices.
Thanks to its low power consumption (1 µA to 12 µA, typically 3 µA), the RAK1902 is ideal for battery-powered IoT solutions. It communicates via an I²C interface, ensuring easy integration into existing systems.
Its compact size of 10 mm x 10 mm makes it simple to implement and allows it to be combined with other WisBlock sensors such as temperature and humidity modules to build a complete weather station.
