Bar Code Scanner Module RAKINDA LV3296 – RAK12018

The RAK12018 WisBlock Bar Code Scanner Module brings reliable 1D and 2D barcode scanning capability to your WisBlock solution. Built with the RAKINDA LV3296 scanner, it supports QR codes, EAN, ISBN, and a wide variety of other barcode formats.

This module is ideal for production lines, where it can scan barcodes from conveyor belts, or for retail applications, enabling efficient product scanning during checkout. It can also be used in autonomous vehicles for direction and location input.

A key advantage of the RAK12018 is its usefulness in LoRaWAN deployments, where it can automatically scan credentials such as DevEUI, AppEUI, and AppKey, simplifying device setup and configuration.

The LV3296 scanner connects to the main RAK12018 board via a flex cable, offering flexibility for various enclosure designs. The module also includes dedicated mounting screw holes, allowing the scanner to be fixed directly to the board for a compact setup.
