Analog UniDirectional Microphone Kit

Bring audio input capabilities to your WisBlock system with the WisBlock Analog UniDirectional Microphone Kit. This kit features the RAK18041 Analog UniDirectional Microphone paired with the RAK18040 Analog Mic to I2S Module, which converts analog audio into digital data for processing.

Designed to focus on sounds from the front while minimizing background noise, it is ideal for voice recognition, speech capture, and other directional audio applications.

Two mounting options are provided for flexibility:

• Simple Stack: All boards are screwed together – best for working with WisBlock Audio boards on your desk.

• Non-RAK Microphone Mounting: The microphone is connected via FFC and mounted separately (typically to the case) to allow audio capture from outside the enclosure.

All necessary screws and cables are included for easy assembly. Please note: A Base Board and WisCore Module are required and must be purchased separately.

The kit supports both Arduino and Voice Processing versions. The Voice Processing version includes a Cyberon License for advanced speech recognition and processing features.
