The RAK12040, part of the WisBlock Sensor Series, is a compact infrared thermal detector powered by the Panasonic AMG8833. With an 8×8 pixel IR array (64 points), it measures thermal radiation in the 8–15 µm range, enabling precise low-resolution thermal imaging.

Its digital I²C interface allows seamless integration into IoT solutions. Operating at 3.3 V, within a 0 °C to +80 °C range, and with a compact size of only 10 x 23 mm, it is suitable for both indoor monitoring and industrial use.
