The RAK12032 Accelerometer, part of the WisBlock Sensor Series, delivers high-precision 3-axis motion and vibration sensing. Based on the Analog Devices ADXL313, it supports an extended measurement range of ±0.5 g to ±4 g with a resolution of up to 13 bits.
With a low power draw of just 30 μA in measurement mode, combined with the WisBlock system’s ability to completely power down the module, it is perfect for battery-powered applications. Its low noise performance of 150 μg/√Hz (typical for X and Y axes) ensures highly accurate results.
The module connects easily through a digital I²C interface and includes built-in motion detection functions for activity and inactivity monitoring. Paired with other WisBlock modules like a GNSS module, the RAK12032 can even be used to build a compact inertial navigation system.
