Product Description Technical Details

The RAK11720 (US915 version) is a compact, energy-efficient IoT module designed for long-range, low-power wireless communication in the 915 MHz ISM band, compliant with LoRaWAN® and Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.0 standards.

Powered by the Ambiq Apollo3 Blue SoC and the Semtech SX1262 LoRa® transceiver, this module offers dual wireless capability in a small footprint. It includes a U.FL (MHF) antenna connector, allowing for easy integration with external antennas for enhanced RF performance in industrial and commercial environments.

Hardware Integration

The RAK11720 shares the same form factor and pinout as the RAK3172, making it fully compatible with existing designs and enclosures. It enables fast prototyping and production without requiring a PCB redesign.

This version supports US915 MHz LoRaWAN® operation, suitable for deployments in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and other regions using the 915 MHz band.
