The RAK17000 Motor Control Module, part of the RAKwireless WisBlock Series, is designed to bring motor control capabilities to IoT applications. Based on the Texas Instruments DRV8833 Motor Driver IC, it can reliably drive two DC motors or one stepper motor.

It supports a wide supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 10.8 V and includes output current control for precise motor operation. The motor can be powered either from the WisBlock Base board’s battery or an external power supply.

The power source can easily be selected using a 2.54 mm 2-pin jumper, offering flexibility for various use cases. With its compact 25 × 35 mm design, the RAK17000 is ideal for battery-powered devices, automation systems, and robotics projects.
