The RAK15003 FRAM Module provides a reliable, low-power non-volatile memory solution for WisBlock-based projects. Powered by the Fujitsu MB85RC256T chip, it offers 32 kByte of storage, sufficient for many IoT applications requiring secure and continuous data logging.
Unlike EEPROM or Flash memory, FRAM supports virtually unlimited write/read operations. The RAK15003 delivers 1 trillion write cycles per byte and ensures data retention of up to 200 years at 35 °C, making it extremely durable and reliable.
It connects via a high-speed I²C interface (up to 1 MHz) for easy integration. With a typical operating current of 200 μA at 1 MHz and only 27 μA in standby mode, it is highly efficient for battery-powered IoT devices. Its wide operating temperature range (-40 °C to +85 °C) ensures stable performance even in demanding conditions.
With a compact 10 × 10 mm form factor, the RAK15003 is ideal for space-constrained designs.
