The RAK15005 FRAM Module delivers a robust and energy-efficient non-volatile memory solution for WisBlock projects. Built with the Fujitsu MB85RC1M chip, it offers 128 kByte capacity with exceptionally low power consumption and outstanding durability.
Unlike traditional EEPROM or Flash, FRAM supports virtually unlimited write/read operations. The RAK15005 provides 1 trillion write cycles per byte and guarantees data retention of up to 200 years at 35 °C, making it perfect for continuous data logging and secure storage.
It uses a high-speed I²C interface (up to 1 MHz) for easy integration. With a typical operating current of only 0.71 mA and a standby current of just 15 μA, it is optimized for battery-powered IoT solutions. The wide operating temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C ensures reliability even in demanding environments.
Compact at 10 × 10 mm, the RAK15005 fits seamlessly into space-constrained designs.
