The RAK15006 FRAM Module adds a reliable and energy-efficient non-volatile memory solution to WisBlock systems. Built with the Fujitsu MB85RS4MT chip, it provides 512 kByte of memory, more than sufficient for many IoT and data logging applications.

Unlike traditional EEPROM or Flash memory, FRAM supports practically unlimited write/read operations. The RAK15006 delivers 1 trillion write cycles per byte and ensures data retention for up to 200 years at 35 °C, making it exceptionally durable for mission-critical applications.

It features a 40 MHz SPI interface, with low power consumption (2.6 mA during operation and 50 μA in standby) and operates across a wide temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C, making it suitable for even harsh environments.

Compact at just 10 × 10 mm, the RAK15006 is designed for space-constrained and battery-powered IoT solutions requiring long-term and reliable memory performance.
