The RAK16001 ADC Expansion Module enhances your WisBlock system with additional analog input channels. Powered by the Texas Instruments ADS7830, it features an 8-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with a serial I²C interface and an integrated 8-channel multiplexer including a sample-and-hold circuit.

It supports 8 single-ended inputs or 4 differential inputs, providing flexibility depending on your application. With a sampling rate of 70 kHz, the module ensures fast and accurate measurements.

The ADS7830 includes an internal 2.5 V voltage reference and delivers 8-bit resolution with ±0.5 LSB INL/DNL accuracy and no missing codes. Measuring just 25 × 45 mm, the RAK16001 is a compact and reliable solution for IoT projects that require monitoring multiple voltage sources simultaneously.
