Keypad Module 3×3 / 3×4 / 4×4 – RAK14004

The RAK14004 WisBlock Keypad Module is designed as part of a modular, production-ready IoT solution and must be combined with a WisBlock Core and a WisBlock Base Module.

As an IO extension module, it allows you to connect various keypads via a flex cable, supporting 3×3, 3×4, or 4×4 key matrices. This makes it suitable for a wide range of use cases, such as security access systems requiring PIN entry or user interfaces for adjusting sensor thresholds on the fly.

The RAK14004 supports a scan matrix of up to 8 × 8 keys, allowing for a maximum of 64 keys. With its I²C interface to the WisBlock Core, integration is quick and seamless. It also supports interrupts on single or multiple key presses, enabling responsive and efficient operation.

Compact in design, the RAK14004 measures 25 × 35 mm, while the RAK14009 add-on module provides a 3 × 3 keypad matrix with dimensions of 33 × 45 mm. Together, they offer a highly flexible input solution for your IoT projects.
