The RAK12020 Ambient Light Sensor, part of the WisBlock Sensor Series, is a compact and energy-efficient solution for precise light measurement. Featuring the AMS TSL25911FN chip, it provides high accuracy readings that closely approximate the response of the human eye, making it ideal for applications where accurate light detection is critical.
Thanks to its very high sensitivity, the sensor performs exceptionally well even under low-light conditions. It also includes two internal interrupt sources, enabling the detection of sudden brightness changes without constant polling.
With an ultra-low sleep current of just 3.0 μA, the RAK12020 is perfectly suited for battery-powered IoT devices. It operates at 3.3 V and has a compact size of 10 x 10 mm, making it easy to integrate into a wide range of systems.
Typical Applications:
Smart home lighting control
Energy-saving systems
Display brightness adjustment
IoT environmental monitoring
Wearable devices
