NB-IoT LTE CAT M1 Quectel BG77 – RAK5860

The RAK5860 NB-IoT / LTE-M Module brings cellular IoT connectivity to the WisBlock system, powered by the Quectel BG77 chipset. Supporting LTE Cat M1 and LTE Cat NB2, it is the ideal choice when your LoRa® application requires cellular access in regions lacking WiFi networks or LoRaWAN® gateways.

The module features integrated GNSS functionality (GPS and GLONASS) for accurate location services. Programming is straightforward using the Quectel AT command set, with communication via UART directly to a WisBlock Core module.

Designed for battery-powered applications, the RAK5860 can be fully powered down within the WisBlock system to minimize energy consumption. It includes IPEX connectors for external LTE and GPS antennas and supports both Nano-SIM and eSIM options.
