Product Description Technical Details

The WisBlock Mini Base Board RAK19003 is the compact central board in the WisBlock ecosystem. It serves as the connection hub for the WisBlock Core MCU and two additional WisBlock modules through standardized 24-pin WisConnectors (Slot C and Slot D). Designed with industrial-grade components, the RAK19003 supports a seamless transition from prototype development to mass production.

Despite its tiny size—only 30 × 35 mm—it enables powerful IoT applications. The WisBlock Core mounts on the top side, while the additional modules are connected underneath. Slot C supports modules up to 10 mm high, and Slot D accommodates modules up to 23 mm.

The board supports three different power sources:

  • 5V via USB Type-C

  • 3.7V LiPo battery

  • 5V solar panel

You can mix and match power sources based on your application. Sensor power can also be switched on/off to optimize for low power consumption.

RAK19003 features include two user-defined LEDs, a reset button, and a USB Type-C debug port. It also exposes key interfaces—UART, I2C, BOOT, GPIO, analog—via solder pads for easy integration.

Modules connect via high-speed board-to-board connectors, ensuring signal integrity even in high-vibration environments. To enhance layout flexibility, the RAK19005 Sensor Extension Cable can be used to relocate sensor modules within an enclosure.
