WisLink PLC LX200V50 EVB – Power Line Communication Evaluation Boardv

The WisLink PLC LX200V50 EVB is a professional-grade evaluation board built on the Qualcomm QCA7550 SoC, designed to transmit multi-stream Ethernet content from a power line network into a standard Ethernet 802.3 environment. Its PLC-specific MAC efficiently manages network access and service flows to optimize data delivery and ensure high Quality of Service (QoS).

With a maximum physical layer data rate of 1000 Mbps, this EVB is ideal for R&D, prototyping, and performance validation in high-demand networking environments. The board is plug-and-play, requiring no user configuration.

It provides two power supply options: via USB Type-C or a barrel jack power adapter. A RJ45 Ethernet port and a power line interface are also integrated for full connectivity.

The board supports a wide range of HomePlug® AV2 profiles, including 30 MHz and 67 MHz MIMO and SISO, and features advanced OFDM modulation (up to 4096-QAM). It includes 2×2 MIMO with beamforming, Turbo Code Forward Error Correction (FEC), channel estimation, noise mitigation, and 128-bit AES link encryption with key management.

Additional advanced MAC features such as priority-based CSMA/CA, IGMP multicast, and hardware packet classifiers for traffic management ensure optimal throughput, even under complex networking conditions.
