Product Description Technical Details

The RAK3372 WisBlock Core Module is a highly efficient LoRaWAN® module in the WisBlock Core series, built around the STM32WLE5CCU6 SoC. This all-in-one chip combines a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 processor with a LoRa® transceiver, offering a powerful and low-power solution for long-range wireless IoT applications such as smart agriculture, remote sensing, industrial automation, and more.

Thanks to ultra-low sleep current (< 2.0 µA), configurable RF output up to +22 dBm, and bandwidths from 7.8 kHz to 500 kHz, the RAK3372 is ideal for battery- or solar-powered deployments. It fully supports the LoRaWAN® 1.0.3 specification (Class A, B & C) as well as LoRa® point-to-point (P2P) communication.

Powered by RAKwireless Unified Interface V3 (RUI3), this module can operate either as a standalone device with custom firmware using the RUI3 APIs, or as a LoRa modem controlled by an external host (MCU/MPU) via AT or binary commands over UART.

The RAK3372 is electrically and mechanically compatible with all WisBlock Base Boards and features a standard pin layout for easy integration. It also includes a Serial Wire Debug (SWD) interface for development and flashing.

⚠️ Note: Pin WB_IO3 (connected to PB12) is internally pulled up with a 10 kΩ resistor. This may cause conflicts with other WisBlock modules that use the same pin.
⚠️ Important: Always connect an antenna before powering the LoRa transceiver. Failure to do so may damage the chip. Secure the module with screws for reliable operation.
