The Milesight UC502-NO3GL NB-IoT/Cat.1 is a highly capable LoRaWAN® Multi-I/O Controller with added cellular (NB-IoT/Cat.1) connectivity for hybrid communication environments. It provides a broad set of industrial and environmental sensor interfaces, including GPIO, RS232/RS485, 2 × 12-bit analog inputs, and SDI-12, making it suitable for complex monitoring and automation tasks.
The two GPIO ports can be configured via software as digital inputs, digital outputs, or pulse counters, allowing integration with flow meters, relays, switches, and alarm sensors. The high-resolution 12-bit analog inputs support 4–20 mA and 0–10 V signals, enabling connection to industrial-grade transducers and environmental probes. The RS232/RS485 interface supports transparent mode and Modbus RTU, ensuring compatibility with SCADA systems and industrial controllers.
The SDI-12 interface enables seamless integration of professional environmental sensors such as soil moisture, hydrological, and meteorological devices.
The device communicates via LoRaWAN® OTAA/ABP Class A and additionally supports NB-IoT/Cat.1, offering highly reliable data transmission even in challenging or remote locations. Configuration is fast and convenient through NFC, USB-C PC software, or remote downlink commands.
The UC502-NO3GL features three 9000 mAh ER26500 Li-SOCl₂ batteries, combined with a 6 V / 1.7 W integrated solar panel, guaranteeing extremely long operating times for fully off-grid installations. An additional DC 5–24 V input provides optional external power. The IP68 enclosure protects the device against water, dust, and extreme outdoor environments, with an operating temperature range of –30°C to +70°C.
Advanced features include threshold alarms, change alarms, local storage for 600 entries, data retrievability, and data retransmission to ensure data integrity in unstable network conditions.
