Milesight LoRaWAN Controller IP67 Multi I/O Modbus UC502-868M

The Milesight UC502-868M LoRaWAN® Multi-I/O Controller is built for demanding IoT applications requiring reliable, long-distance wireless communication and robust sensor integration. As part of the UC50x series, it offers a broad range of industrial-grade interfaces including GPIO, RS232/RS485, 4–20 mA / 0–10 V analog inputs, and SDI-12, enabling seamless connection of environmental sensors, industrial meters, and monitoring devices.

The two GPIO ports are fully software-switchable between digital input, digital output, and pulse counter, making the device suitable for flow meters, dry-contact sensors, relay control, and switching applications. High-precision 12-bit analog inputs allow accurate measurement of environmental or industrial parameters, while the RS232/RS485 serial port supports both transparent data transmission and Modbus RTU, integrating easily with SCADA systems and industrial communication networks.

The UC502 communicates via LoRaWAN® (OTAA/ABP Class A), providing long-range connectivity of up to 15 km line-of-sight, and can be configured super easily via NFC, USB Type-C PC software, or downlink commands.

Designed for field installations, the UC502 is equipped with three 9000 mAh ER26500 Li-SOCl2 batteries, ensuring extremely long operating life even in remote, off-grid environments. It also supports DC 5–24 V external power input via M12 connector. With an IP68-rated enclosure, the device withstands water immersion, dust, and extreme temperatures from -30°C to +70°C.

Additional advanced features include threshold alarms, change alarms, local storage of 600 data records, data retrievability, and data retransmission to prevent packet loss.
