The Milesight UC511-DI-868M is an advanced LoRaWAN®-enabled solenoid valve controller designed to remotely open and close 12V DC latching solenoids, and capture pulse data from water meters or flow sensors via two GPIO inputs.
With its built-in solar panel, rechargeable battery pack, and IP68-rated enclosure, the UC511 is purpose-built for long-term outdoor deployments, such as agricultural irrigation, landscape watering systems, smart city infrastructure, and remote utility monitoring. The device is also equipped with M12 industrial-grade connectors, ensuring water and dust resistance even in extreme environments.
Beyond wireless control, the UC511 supports local automation through custom rules (IF-THEN logic) and Milesight D2D, allowing ultra-fast operation even without a LoRaWAN® gateway. Users can configure the controller easily via NFC-enabled mobile apps, monitor activity via built-in LEDs, and perform bulk control actions using multicast support.
Data can be buffered locally (up to 500 entries) and retransmitted if network connectivity is lost. With long battery life, efficient power management, and support for multiple LoRaWAN® classes, the UC511 offers an autonomous, low-maintenance solution for modern smart water systems.
