Milesight WS201-868M – Smart Fill-Level Sensor for Close-Range Detection

The Milesight WS201-868M is a smart, wireless fill-level sensor optimized for short-distance detection tasks, such as monitoring the remaining amount of tissue, paper, or liquid in small containers. Equipped with Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology, it delivers accurate, focused distance measurements within a range of 1 to 55 cm, making it ideal for confined installations and precise near-sensing applications.

This sensor performs non-contact measurements, ensuring hygiene and minimal maintenance. It can also report the remaining level as a percentage and issue threshold-based alarms when the fill level falls below predefined limits. With ultra-low power consumption and a hibernate mode, the WS201 achieves a battery life of up to 3.2 years (depending on configuration and conditions).

The built-in NFC interface allows for quick configuration via the Milesight mobile app, while its moisture-proof internal coating ensures stable operation in challenging environments such as bathrooms, hotels, airports, or shopping centers.

The WS201’s compact, flame-retardant ABS + PC housing allows for simple installation using 3M adhesive pads, and its design provides stable performance even in metal surroundings. Compatible with Milesight LoRaWAN® gateways, the Milesight IoT Cloud, and the Milesight Development Platform, the WS201 enables real-time remote monitoring and management of multiple devices efficiently and securely.
