Milesight WS203-868M – Motion and Indoor Climate Sensor with PIR & Temperature/Humidity

The Milesight WS203-868M combines passive infrared (PIR) motion detection with precise temperature and humidity monitoring, offering a comprehensive solution for occupancy and environmental management. With a 120° horizontal and 100° vertical field of view and a 6-meter detection range, it accurately detects motion to help optimize space utilization and indoor comfort.

Equipped with a high-accuracy temperature and humidity (TH) sensor, the WS203 measures temperatures from -20°C to +60°C with an accuracy of ±0.2°C, and humidity from 0–100% RH with ±2% RH precision. The combined data allows for smart, automated control of HVAC and lighting systems based on occupancy and environmental conditions.

The WS203 supports Milesight D2D protocol, enabling direct device-to-device control with ultra-low latency — even without a gateway. It can store up to 1,000 data entries locally, ensuring no data is lost even during temporary network interruptions. The device also supports NFC configuration via the mobile app for one-touch setup and remote management.

Powered by a 4000 mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery, the WS203 achieves a battery life of up to 10.8 years, depending on network parameters and reporting intervals. Its flame-retardant UL94 V0 PC+ABS housing, IP30 protection, and simple wall or adhesive mounting make it ideal for deployment in offices, hospitals, public buildings, and other smart environments.
