The Milesight EM300‑MCS‑868M is a highly reliable magnetic contact sensor designed to detect the open/close status of objects such as doors, windows, cabinets, or panels. It uses LoRaWAN® wireless transmission to send real-time alerts over long distances with low power consumption, making it ideal for security monitoring and facility automation.

Beyond open/close detection, the sensor includes integrated temperature and humidity sensors to enable environmental monitoring. With an IP67-rated waterproof and UV-resistant enclosure, the EM300‑MCS is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, including industrial zones, office buildings, and smart homes.

The built-in 4000 mAh battery (optional 8000 mAh version) ensures years of maintenance-free operation, with up to 10 years of battery life under typical use. The sensor also features NFC-based configuration, Milesight D2D protocol for ultra-low latency device-to-device communication (no gateway required), alarm threshold configuration, and local data storage with retransmission to prevent data loss.

Installation is quick and flexible with options for wall screws, 3M tape, or cable ties—both for the transceiver and magnet unit. The EM300‑MCS integrates seamlessly with the Milesight IoT Cloud and Development Platform, offering remote management, real-time analytics, and smart automation.
