The Milesight EM500‑CO2‑868M is a highly reliable and precise environmental monitoring sensor that measures CO₂ levels, temperature, humidity, and air pressure using advanced NDIR and MEMS sensing technologies. Designed for deployment in harsh indoor and outdoor environments, the sensor transmits data via LoRaWAN® for ultra-long-range, low-power communication — achieving distances of up to 10 km line of sight.
The integrated NDIR CO₂ sensor provides accurate detection across a range of 400 to 5000 ppm, making it suitable for agricultural settings, greenhouses, smart buildings, underground spaces, and early forest fire warning systems. Temperature, humidity, and pressure measurements are performed through highly accurate MEMS sensors.
The EM500‑CO2 is equipped with a replaceable 19,000 mAh Li‑SOCl₂ battery, allowing up to 10 years of autonomous operation with typical reporting intervals. Its rugged IP65-rated housing protects the device against dust and water spray, ensuring reliable long-term performance in tough environmental conditions.
